So, HOW EFFECTIVE ARE THESE SQUIDOO LENSES?

You may remember the other day I was broaching the issue of using Squidoo Lenses.

I briefly mentioned the results that can be gained from Search Engines in a reasonably short period of time, well actually a very rapid amount of time in relation to other forms of getting your site highly ranked by Search Engines.

The only time I have seen anything that comes as close is with Blog’s and that is only achieved when updating it’s content on a daily basis.

A small amount of research has produced excellent results, and to give you a better idea of what I mean I first need you to view the below link:

Once you have viewed the above Squidoo Lens I would then like you to click on the link below, which is a Google search term link for the term Post Your Ad. I think the one near the bottom on the second page should be of interest.

I created that Squidoo Lens not more than three weeks ago. And although it is not the promotion that has projected it so rapidly I have only promoted it in a few simple ads as well as a signature file on these forums:

So before when I brought this idea to the table in the CYN forum I had no real concrete evidence other than based on collected information as to exactly how good it is to use a Squidoo Lens in order to market a program.

Well I am currently working on a further two Lenses that I shall be using. Based on my findings.

You cannot promote your lenses by using Visitor Exchanges as they will break frames but using any other method combined with the natural elevation from Search Engines will enhance your online programs presence even further.

Like you, I have found Squidoo to be very effective.

I have a lens for a freind of mine #1 on Google for both Salt Lake Wedding Officiant and Salt Lake Wedding Minister. He is getting several visits a week to his site for his target market, and getting refferals for his wedding services. This is #1 position for over 2.2 million results. Many of the sites below him have been established in those position for years.

For Digital Product Creation, my lens is #4 out of over 27 million results. For Product Creation Lab, #7 out of 10.3 million results. For Product Creation Workshop, #6 out of 1.6 million results.

For Internet Marketing Maverick
#1 out of 2.1 million results.

For Internet Marketing On Squidoo #1 out of 1.14 million results.

My latest on the rise is "Internet Marketing Guru", #34 out of 3.48 million results. This one was created on February 12th. For Squidoo Marketing Guru, it is #2 and for Next Marketing Guru, it's #6 of 4.02 million.

Next Internet Marketing Guru, #1 out of 2.55 million, in just 1 week.

I am now also running a test in the diet market, it will be interesting to see how weel squidoo favors with some highly competitive keywords.

On the wedding officiant site, we are linking back to the main site within the introduction. On this lens just over 25% clicked through the lens to the website. Squidoo is our second best source of traffic to that site, next to UtahBrides.com where Lee appears on their weekly tv show. This lens incorporates much of the existing site along with some articles and amazon books to make the Squidoo lens different.

My affiliate lens from Tiffany Dow's 30 day challenge incorporates several more advanced techniques, including an optin box, changing fonts, drop caps, and a banner rotator. I am in the process of creating a product detailing how to use some advanced formating on Squidoo to differentiate your lens from others as well as a more advanced linking/traffic strategy that builds on what i have shared with you already here in the forum. I see Squidoo as even more easy and powerful that press releases with the latest techniques I have refined during the challenge.

I don't see Squidoo being used as an adsense/affiliate income in my business, we are mainly using it for backlink and secondary ranking within the search engines that then drives traffic to our money sites.

For affiliate sales, I have sold a few copies of Tiffany's ebook, and a copy of Day Job Killer. Optins through the optin form on my affiliate lens have been less than ten, but it could stand some copy improvement.

I've just started looking into Squidoo myself. What I've found is that a single optimized lense can rank high for competitive keywords. Take a look at this one for 'Make Money Online' http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=make+money+online&btnG=Google+Search

I have been competing for the keyword for about 3 months and have only reached the 3rd page while that lense just popped up out of nowhere recently.

I've noticed several other lenses popping up for other competitive keywords as well. It looks likes squidoo is turning into a very effective means to funnel traffic to our sites and affiliate links.

This really is some highly interesting and awesome information not to be taken lightly, it should certainly appeal to Anyone that is looking to get their business, product or program a much higher profile and traffic.

I'm certainly getting results that at first I had no idea was possible from a simple system such as a Squidoo Lens. I didn't even like the name at first Very Happy

but they could have called it anything for all I care now I'm just glad I went ahead and took the plunge to create a lens.

I'm currently assembling details and information to create another two. I want to really see what this thing they call Squidoo Lenses can really do when the crank is turned right up.
